Rules and Regulations
Entry fee to be determined at the outset of each season
Location:
Poolies can pick as many number of forwards, defensemen or individual goalies
Goalies:
1.5 points for a win
+2 points for a shutout (includes shared shutout)
Forwards &
Defensemen:
1 point for a goal
1 point for an assist
+2 points for a hat trick
+1 for a game-winning goal
+1 for a short-handed goal
Defensemen
Only
+0.5 for a power-play point
Additional Points:
2 points for having the player(s) who wins the Conn Smythe Trophy
1 point for having a player on the Stanley Cup winning
team (active on roster at any point during playoffs)
0.5 points for having a player on the Stanley Cup
runner-up team (active on roster at any point during playoffs)
If a tie occurs at the end of the pool, the
tiebreakers are as follows:
1. most
goals
2. most
shutouts
3. most
players (on active playoff roster) picked on the Stanley Cup winning team
4. most
players (on active playoff roster) picked on the Stanley Cup Final teams
5. highest
+/- of all players combined excluding goalies
6. Coin
toss
Number of rounds varies based on number of poolies involved (typically an even number between 10-14 in total)
Draft lottery to be run in advance of Draft Day to determine selection order of poolies
Ladder-like picks after first round (eg. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 2, 3… etc.)
Each poolie has two
Prize amounts to be determined on Draft Day once number of poolies are confirmed
